It’s hard to believe that many of our schools in the Mother Lode are already approaching the end of the first quarter. We got things started with our Charter Planning Meeting on August 6th and were very excited to see the turn out and new faces willing to contribute to ACSA. Our Fall Kick-Off was held on September 5th at The Pickle Patch Restaurant in San Andreas.  With 30 attendees, we had a great time sharing and discussing the upcoming year.

Our first Professional Development Program of the year is planned for October 22nd with a Google for Administrators presentation by Ric Stitt from Calaveras Unified. The event will run from 7:30 – 11:00 AM with a continental breakfast.  We are still finalizing a location, so keep your eye out for our announcement.

We are also hoping to offer a second PDP in early winter around Elementary Professional Development.

In January and February we will have our annual Every Student Succeeding breakfasts, and in the spring we will have our second professional development program of the year.  We are looking forward to a great year full of fun and meaningful professional development for our members!
