San Joaquin ACSA Charter

This year has been a great start for The San Joaquin ACSA Charter. The annual SJACSA kick-off event at Sorrelle Winery in Stockton was a huge success. We had 70 plus administrators at a beautiful place who were very excited get more involved in ACSA activities. This event not only had great food and company, it also helped administrators to spend quality time together with fellow administrators. It provided an opportunity for them to expand their networks and build connections with so many administrators throughout San Joaquin County! Dr. Bob Price and Scott Nanik also joined us from the Stanislaus County!

Our Charter meetings are called Professional developments because this is our main focus. In June, we conducted an online survey to ask for administrators’ interest in regards to the SJACSA Charter Professional Developments. Our first SJACSA Charter Professional Development will be on November 13, 2013, at Chez Shari in Manteca. The focus of this Professional Development will be expansion of knowledge for administrators regarding Management rights and guidelines for new and aspiring Superintendents.

This is going to be a great year and we look forward to learning a great deal!
